1. How does this benefit me as a coach or team manager
    It provides your team easy access to their schedule.
    You no longer need to print out schedules and distribute them, most of which become lost before they get home.
    Instead on creating spreadsheets or word documents just enter the schedules into the website. No need to attach schedules to emails and getting updated email addresses for distribution.
    Ensure everyone goes to the correct field. Since you will be entering the address of the game location you can be sure that everyone will go to the correct game location. No more phones calls 10 minutes before a game that someone is at the wrong field and instead of finishing warms ups your trying to give them directions to where they are supposed to be.
    Everyone has easy access to retrieve directions to the game. They can even get directions to the game from their mobile device without having the address. They just select Get Directions from the website for the game they need to get to.
    Just direct everyone to the website and they can get the most current game information: date, time, location, uniform colors,...
    Maintain scores for each game
    Post notes for each game - who is bringing snacks, arrival time for pregame warm ups, color of uniforms to wear...
    Post team functions i.e fundraisers

2. How does this benefit me as a parent, player or someone interested in a team
    You now have easy access to team schedules and directions to games.
    Forgot what color uniform, time of game, who's bringing snacks,.. just look online
    You no longer need an address to get directions since it's already been entered. Just click on Get Directions for the game and a Google Map with turn by turn directions appears.
    Forgot the date, time or location of the team fundraiser. No need to call numerous parents or the coach to get the information. Just look online.
    Can't find the schedule that was on the dresser or the refrigerator door. No problem. Just go to the website and print out another copy.

3. How do I add my team's schedule
    Click on Schedules on the navigation bar on the top of the page.
    Then select 'Add a New Team'
    Enter your team's information. Items with an asterisk '*' are required.
    Click on Add Team
    Review the information that you entered and Click on Add Team or the Back button to make changes. - You can change any information later. email and password are needed for authentication in order to make changes.
    Click on Create Schedule
    Enter games and team function information
    That's it! Takes just a minute or so.

    To view Schedules - Click on the number in the Schedules column
    To Update Team Information - lick on the number in the Modify Team column

    Then select Find A Team

    All matching teams will be displayed.
    Click on the number in the Schedules column. This will display the team schedule.
    Click on the Get Map & Directions column for the game you need to get to.
    Enter your From address or use the default address (team's city) and Click on Get Directions

8. What if I forgot my password
    If you forgot your password click on the 'Forgot Password' link on the login screen. You will be automatically sent to the Login Screen if you haven't already been authenticated and attempt to make an update. Your password will be sent to the email we have on record. You can also email admin@lookingforagame.com with any issues or comments.

9. Can anybody update the schedule or team information
    In order to make any changes to a team or schedule the email and password that we have on file must be entered. Anybody can view teams and schedule information as well as getting directions to games but they cannot make any changes.

10. How do I make sure the game site address is correct
    The Create Schedule page has a Get Address button. Click on this button and a Google Maps page will become present. Use this page to search Google for the address. Once you have the correct address you can copy and paste or enter the address information on the Create Schedule page. This way you can ensure everyone will go the correct location and that Google Maps will be able to find it when someone is getting directions.

11. Does everyone have to search for the game site address
    No. Once it is entered when the Schedule is created everyone else just needs to click on the get Map & Direction button on the team Schedule page. The address can be modified later if necessary. You will need the email and password for the team in order to make any changes.

12. Why does the TO address on the directions only have the city and state of the team
    Since most people will be coming from different locations only the city and state of the team are initially entered. Everyone can enter their own starting address to get directions specific for them.

13. Why do I get an address verify screen when retrieving directions to games
    This gives you the opportunity to customize the directions to the game from your starting location.

14. What else can I include besides schedules
    You can basically enter any information that you'd like.
    Practice schedules
    Team events such as fundraisers, team get togethers, birthdays,...
    Due dates or deadlines
    Team meetings
    Basically any information that your team needs to be aware of

15. Can I access it from my mobile device
    Yes. Just point the browser on your mobile device to www.lookingforagame.com
16. Which sports can this be used for
    This can be used for any sport. If your sport is not listed on the dropdown box just select Other for Sport and enter the Sport on the New Sport line when Adding your team. We will then add the Sport to the dropdown box. You can also email admin@lookingforagame.com

17. Is this only for team sports
    Certainly not. This can be used for any sport. For instance if you're a runner, swimmer, cyclist, triathlete,.. you can enter your personal training schedule and events that you will be completing with directions to the competition. If you're a golfer or play tennis you can enter the dates of where you'll be playing. Then you and your partners can get easy directions to where you'll be playing. These are just a couple of examples but should show some of the versatility of the website.

    Select Scrimmages from the navigation bar
    Select Find a Scrimmage
    Select a Sport and a State
    Any matching scrimmages will be displayed
    If there are no matches then you can Add a Scrimmage. Click on the 'Click Here' link or select Add a Scrimmage under the Scrimmage tab on the navigation bar
