Busy Moms Whether you are a soccer mom or 'insert your sport/activity here' mom, you are definitely a busy mom. Today's environment is making everyone work harder in what seems like less time. As parents we try to stay on top of our children in making sure they get their homework done, eat properly, get their rest, stay out of trouble and try to teach them the difference between right and wrong. One of the things that us as parents do to help with these issues is to keep them active, which means we keep active.
Activities Though this site may be focused on youth sports, we can help you manage and organize any activity (i.e. Music, dance, etc..). Youth sports, whether it is basketball, baseball, football, soccer, lacrosse, ... it doesn't matter which sport or activity, we can help you manage and organize it.
Easy access to team schedules Sample schedule Being a busy mom, you have so many other things to be concerned with, you shouldn't have to think about your children's team schedules. We can help you figure out where your child needs to be and if there is a conflict and you need to make other arrangements for a particular day. We give you more than just game schedules. Most other sites and team web pages contain the team schedule and some will even provide directions to each game. But many times you need to search through the web site to find the directions to the location of the event. How many times have you needed to search through old emails sent by the coach to find out which practice was changed or maybe where the next scrimmage was? Or maybe you had to find the number of another parent and call them. Being as busy as you are, wouldn't it be nice to just be able to go to one web page and get a view of all events for a particular month in a monthly calendar view! And if you need directions just click on the directions link under each event and be able to get quick customized directions. All of this on one page.
Multiple team schedules If you only have one child you might not be such a busy mom. However, with the average number of children per household over 2 and with the expanded family (which includes stepchildren) you more than likely have more than 1 schedule to be concerned with. How do you put the schedules together? You go to each team site or get a copy of the schedule from the coach and you write on a calendar or create your own spreadsheet or document with the schedules. Then when something changes to cross out, erase, try to find the original electronic version and update it. As busy as you are, do you really have time for all of that? Wouldn't it be nice to just go to one web page and view ALL of the schedules in a monthly calendar view. We provide that for you so that you don't have to waste your time putting these schedules together.
Email and Text Messages We provide the ability to send the event information either to your email or to your mobile device. If sending via email, your default email will be used. You also have the option to send a text or SMS message to your mobile device using Twitter. Twitter is becoming quite popular, it is easy and free to use. We provide instructions on the site to set up your Twitter account which should take less than 5 minutes. Whether sending a text message or an email the event information is automatically filled in the body portion of the message. You are free to update the message. This is great if you have a GPS system. Just send the event which could contain the address and location name of where the event is and you have it handy to enter into your GPS.
Keeping things simple The last thing that a busy mom needs is a complicated and complex system that is difficult to navigate or is time consuming in getting to the information that you need. The only time someone needs to log in to the site is when the team or an event needs to be updated or changed. If you simply want to view a schedule or multiple team schedules you can get to it in 3 clicks or save the calendar page as a favorite and you can go directly to it. If there is a need for confidentiality for your site please contact us. It most cases for simply viewing a schedule this isn't required so we don't waste your time with logging into the system and making you remember another username and password. But in order to make any changes a username and password is definitely required.
When creating a team we only ask for basic and a minimal amount of information. The same goes for adding an event. We have also included functionality to make the system easy to use. For instance, to ensure that the address of the event is accurate we provide a 'Verify Address' button so that you can ensure that Google Maps can find the address entered. If you don't have the address you can also use this to search for a valid address for the location. This way you can be sure that everyone goes to the correct address. Also, once an address has been entered for a club or school a drop down box will be provided of previously entered locations from which you can choose from. This way the address for each location only needs to be entered one time for everyone in the same school or club. We're doing all we can to make the lives of busy moms easier.
